Mini review: “Hell From The East” by Hugh Howey

A little while ago I read a short story by Hugh Howey from an anthology called Robot Uprisings.  At 9 pages it was an interesting little distraction.  “Hell From The East” is from a book of short stories called “Dead Man’s Hand: An Anthology of the Weird West“. Western meets sci-fi.

It clocks in at a massive 11 pages but it actually packs in a fair amount of plot in that space.  Hugh evidently has a lot of stories to tell and I hope he continues with these short form works.
