Article: How science became cool

I’ve really enjoyed a number of science programmes on the BBC recently, especially Beautiful Minds, the short series of in-depth interviews with renowned scientists on BBC4.  Wonders of the Solar System has shown me some of the secrets of Saturn and its moons, Chemistry: A Volatile History has highlighted the development of the Periodic Table and an episode of Horizon showed how theories on the origins and nature of the universe may all be wrong.  Things and people I never knew before.

This article in the Guardian offers some interesting views on whether the current focus on science means that it is the new rock n’ roll… recommended.
