The Next 5000 Days

Starting with Google’s pronouncement that there are now over a trillion unique URLs on the web, Kelly’s assessment of how much work was involved to create the web as we know it today (“the web of pages”), his “One Machine“, the semantic web (“the web of data”), cloud computing… He packs it all into an easy going 20 minutes.

Fossett’s plane has now been found in the last few days, after a hiker found some of his possessions. Low tech, but it may provide answers at last…

• The Guardian : Wreckage found by hiker on remote California mountainside confirmed as Fossett’s plane
